I truly believe that the Lord healed me during a time of waiting, confusion, and fear. It was about a month ago when I was playing in a co-ed volleyball tournament and injured my knee. The moment it happened, my mind automatically went to fear and all the what ifs. “Will I need surgery? Will I have a huge set back in sports? Will I…,” I asked myself. But then, I just started praying. I sat there in the bleachers, praying and waiting.

I went home knowing I would have to wait. In order to get the right information, I had to get an MRI, which was several days away. The worry and fear of what was wrong with my knee made it feel like forever until the MRI could happen. I prayed every single night, morning, and, come to think of it, any moment that I was scared, I prayed. I will tell anyone that during week was the most praying I had probably ever done.

A few days later, I had the MRI to see if there were any tears or anything serious. Mind you, I was praying in the hospital and every minute during the MRI. We waited for the results, which wouldn’t arrive for a few days. I continued to pray and put all my faith in God. I was waiting, waiting for that call.

When the call finally came, the doctor told my mother that I’m all good and it was just a sprained MCL. Right then, all the weight and pressure I was feeling dropped. I thanked God. It was truly a miracle from God. It could have been much worse, but I truly believe that because of my faith and praying I was healed.

I’m writing this to encourage you that no matter how big or scary the situation seems, your Father in Heaven has you. You just have to keep trusting and praying. He will answer.
